Talentmark are recruiting for a QC Microbiology Technician to join a global healthcare provider to hospitals, clinics and homes on a contract basis for 11 months. This role is based at the client's site in Swindon.

Salary:

£13.58 per hour PAYE.

Shift

This role is days only, 0800 - 1600, but is on a rotating shift including weekends.

QC Microbiology Technician Role:

  • Test the microbiological properties of materials and products.
  • Collect Environmental monitoring and water samples.
  • Update the batch tracker with Microbiology testing dates.
  • Keep environmental monitoring tracking spreadsheets up to date, including trending data and transcription checking.
  • Provide technical support to Scientist 2 and Senior Scientist, including technician duties when required.

Your Background:

  • Hold a relevant scientific qualification or have working experience in a lab.
  • Good knowledge of microbiology and testing techniques.
  • Have an understanding of GMP/GLP environments.
  • Ability to work weekends.
