QC Microbiology Technician

CK Group are recruiting for a QC Microbiology Technician to join a global healthcare provider to hospitals, clinics and homes on a contract basis for 12 months.

This is a shift role working Tuesdays to Saturdays inclusive. There are two potential shift, either 0700 – 1500 or 0800 – 1600.

Salary:

Paying up to £13.58 per hour PAYE

QC Microbiology Technician Role:

• Monitor and maintain laboratory stock, order new stock when necessary.
• Keep glassware clean and ready for use.
• Keep records of work in accordance with internal SOPs and external GLP standards.
• Routine maintenance and testing of lab equipment.
• Rotation of stock inventory on a weekly basis.

• Hold a scientific qualification in science (A Levels, BTEC etc)
• Have a passion for science
• Excellent communication skills
• An eye for detail
