Laboratory Technologist

Talentmark are recruiting for a Laboratory Technologist to join a dynamic and innovative polymers company who are based in Southampton on an initial 3 month contract basis.

Location:

The role is fully based at the clients site in Southampton.

Role:

• Performing a variety of polymer testing including MFI, Mechanical testing, DSC, HDT/Vicat.
• Analysing and reporting data both internally and externally.
• Report writing for internal and external customers.
• Managing the workflow of the day-to-day operations of the laboratory.
• Managing quality complaint system.

• Educated to degree level or above in a relevant scientific/engineering discipline.
• Experience in Polymer Chemistry would be beneficial.
• Previous relevant experience in materials testing.
• Demonstrable ability to generate data accurately and write reports.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills (internal and external).
