An established pharmaceutical company is preparing for its
first launch in epilepsy in Germany, moving beyond its traditional focus in respiratory medicine. To support this, we are looking for an experienced
Commercial Strategy Consultant / Subject Matter Expert
to shape the launch strategy for a
first generic entrant
in this therapy area.
This is a strategic, advisory role: you will define the
what
and
where
of the launch, while internal teams and agencies take ownership for execution.
Key responsibilities
- Develop the overall
commercial launch strategy
for a generic epilepsy product in Germany.
- Define the core
value proposition and USPs
as the first generic player in the market.
- Advise the product team on
who to engage and what to focus on
at each stage of launch.
- Map the German epilepsy landscape.
- Recommend patient and doctor access programmes, and priorities for.
- Identify priority
congresses, conferences and regional meetings
in Germany.
- Outline a high‑level view of the
resources and capabilities
needed for successful execution (internal and external).
- Strong track record in
commercial / market access / launch strategy
for pharmaceuticals in Germany.
- Experience in
epilepsy, neurology or CNS
strongly preferred.
- Deep understanding of the
German healthcare and prescribing environment, ideally including generics.
- Able to work at a strategic, advisory level with cross‑functional teams.
- Comfortable operating as an
interim consultant
and delivering clear, actionable recommendations within a 3‑month timeframe.
- Fluent German; very good English for internal collaboration.
