Field Service Engineer

Talentmark are recruiting for a Field Service Engineer, on behalf of life science technology company on a permanent basis.

Location:

The successful candidate will be located in San Francisco as a preference, but San Diego based candidates can also be considered.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Perform installations, preventive, and corrective maintenance services on the client’s technology.
• Schedule preventative maintenance, report all repairs, product failures, and other field service paperwork through HubSpot.
• Provide excellent customer support through customer training and technical support for installed instruments.
• Identify field service opportunities for future business and communicate this to the sales teams.

To be considered for the role, you will have the following skills and experience:

• Experience programming and/or operating automated laboratory scientific equipment. In particular, scripting assays for Liquid Handlers (Hamilton, Tecan etc.)
• Willingness to travel up to 75%, including overnight and international travel.
• Experience in a high client-facing role would be advantageous.
