EHS Support Specialist
Talentmark are recruiting for a EHS Support Specialist, to join a chemical manufacturing company, based in Derbyshire, on a 12-month fixed term contract.
The position is a full time site based role, working Monday to Friday.
The Company:
Our client is a leading manufacturer of advanced chemicals, supplying to many companies worldwide.
Your main duties will be:
- Safely handle and manage hazardous chemicals, including COSHH coordination, chemical safety guidance and SDS reviews.
- Assist with audit preparation including action tracking and gathering evidence.
- Assist with permit variations, notifications and regulatory communications as required.
- Update documentation including risk assessments training records and procedures.
- Degree or HNC in Chemistry or relevant degree.
- Experience in a similar industrial EHS role.
- Experience with incident investigation, risk assessment and contractor management.
- Exposure to hazardous chemicals or chemical processes.
- Understanding of UK EHS legislation and its practical application.
