Development Chemist
Talentmark are recruiting for a Development Chemist to join a Chemicals Manufacturing company at their site based in Greater Manchester on a full time, permanent basis, for a salary between £35,000 - £40,000.

With integrated R&D and manufacturing facilities, the business develops tailored solutions for complex engineering applications, supplying customers worldwide via an established global network.

Greater Manchester
Your main duties will be:
- Formulate and develop new blended products, work to improve existing products and work to approve new raw materials.
- Create customer-facing (TDS etc) and internal documentation (QC specification etc) and SAP records for new products.
- Prepare technical reports and presentations as required.
- Liaise with Quality Control re problems with samples, batch monitoring and creation of QC specification for new products, including Safety Data Sheets.
- Work with Production on the manufacture of new products and assist with other products as required.
- Work with other departments such as Commercial and Marketing as required.
The ideal candidate for this role will have the following skills and experience:
- Chemistry degree (or above) desirable.
- Be comfortable in a laboratory environment.
- Good motivation and organisation skills.
- Industrial lab experience.
- Familiarity with product development methodologies – research, sample preparation, testing, review desirable.
