SUCCESS STORIES
Since 2016, Talentmark have supported the UK drug discovery operations for Eisai, a global research-based pharmaceutical company, covering the end-to-end drug lifecycle and supporting the development of novel therapeutics for neurodegenerative diseases. We currently have 6 full-time scientists working on site for the in vitro biology operations.
The project plays an important role in supporting Eisai’s mission to develop innovative treatments for neurodegenerative diseases. Through the generation of high-quality experimental data and scientific insight, the team contributes to the progression of potential new therapies from early discovery through towards later stages of development.
Project Brief
Talentmark we are now supplying staff across multiple programmes and are building the capacity for more. Talentmark are working to retain and develop the highly skilled contractor workforce, reduce administrative burdens on client staff, and offer improved employment packages to enhance attraction and retention.
Challenges
Eisai required dedicated in vitro biology support to advance research into novel therapeutics for neurodegenerative diseases. As scientific priorities and project requirements evolved, the need for specialist expertise, reliable experimental data and flexible team capacity grew to support multiple drug discovery programmes and collaborative research initiatives.
Solution
The dedicated team we placed provides specialist laboratory-based support across multiple drug discovery programmes. Working closely with Eisai’s internal teams and external research partners, the scientists apply advanced biological techniques while maintaining high standards of scientific quality, documentation and compliance.
Outcome & Conclusion
The project has now grown into a long-term strategic partnership, expanding to meet evolving scientific demands. The team has contributed to multiple drug discovery programmes focused on neurodegenerative diseases, supporting key research milestones and the progression of potential therapies.
